Chris Moneymaker is one of the few poker players that have made history and are also a source of inspiration for many poker fans. Chris represents the prototype of normal citizen, who from one day to another become a legend after having won one of the more prestigious poker competitions, the WSOP 2003. A lot of poker fans consider him a role model and he make them believe that everything is possible.
Who knows, maybe they will be the next ones who give a big surprise in the WSOP?

Girls play too!
Mari Ho and Michelle are a great example to illustrate that poker is not only a boys’ game. Both girls have already participated in different occasions in the prestigious WSOP, where they have proved that they don’t only have a pretty face, but they also are fantastic players. Mari Ho was the last female participant during the main event in the WSOP 2007, and the same did Michelle in 2008. And now, both of them together will take part in a new adventure, as they will be participating at The Amazing Race poker program broadcasted by CBS. Without any doubt, their participation in this program will help to increase the number of poker fans that will play online or in land based poker rooms and casinos.
